2026 Election of Democratic Precinct Chairs
Please fill out this PC Interest Form if you are thinking about or plan to be a precinct chair in 2026 (elected or appointed).
We elect our precinct committee chairs every four years during the Primary Election in the mid-term (non-presidential) election cycle (e.g., 2026, 2030), as mandated by state law and party rules. Candidates file a declaration of candidacy to be placed on the primary ballot, and all registered Democratic voters in that precinct can vote for the chair, who is then responsible for forming the base of the party's local operations. The purpose of the precinct chair is to be the neighborhood face of the party— mobilizing voters for Democratic candidates, organizing local events, and serving as a voting member of the County Central Committee to elect county party leadership and fill certain vacancies in elected office.
