West Lafayette Mayor Erin Easter is hitting the pavement with us, and she’s leading our canvassing teams as we take on the neighborhoods of West Lafayette and Wabash Township! Canvassing is hands-down the single most effective way to reach voters, hear what matters to them, and get our candidate slate across the finish line. If you’ve been looking for your sign to get involved, this is it.
Here’s how the day breaks down:
Morning Kickoff: Fueled up with fresh coffee and donuts before Mayor Easter leads the morning shift out into the field.
Midday Fuel-Up: A well-earned pizza lunch to kick back, debrief, and prep the team for the afternoon wave.
We need your voice and your energy on the team. Spots fill up, momentum is building, and you definitely don't want to look back on Election Day wishing you'd done more.

Volunteer - Canvass with the Trustee
Ready to make a real impact on our local community—and score free food while you're at it?
Missing this one means missing out! Wabash Township Trustee Angel Valentín is personally jumping into the field to lead our neighborhood canvassing push across West Lafayette and Wabash Township.
Direct conversations on the doorstep are where elections are actually won. Trustee Valentín knows local government inside and out, and having him lead the charge makes this one of our most important field events of the season.
Here’s the lineup for the day:
AM Shift: Start your morning right with a fresh coffee and donut spread, grab your turf, and hit the doors alongside Angel.
The Midday Recharge: We’re bringing everyone together for a free pizza lunch—the perfect spot to swap stories, compare notes, and prep the afternoon crew.
PM Shift: Keep the momentum going as we head back out to finish the day strong.

Summer Picnic
The Tippecanoe Democrats Picnic is happening this Saturday, and if you aren’t there, you’re going to be hearing about it all weekend.Aside from the fact that we genuinely want to see you, here is what you'll miss if you stay home:
Free food (mostly!): We are doing the cooking so you don’t have to. We’ve got plates, utensils, and options for both carnivores and vegans. Want that famous roasted sweet corn? It’s yours for just a $3 donation.
The Taco Piñata: Yes, you read that right. Don’t "chicken out" on hitting a taco piñata.
The Crowd: Hang out with our awesome local candidates while enjoying some political jokes and riddles.
Family-Friendly Vibes: The kids can burn off energy at the nearby playground while you mingle.
